Frequently Asked Questions

Our customers often have questions and concerns about wedding videography. If you cannot find the answer to one of your questions on this page, please, do not hesitate to contact our office with your concerns at 305-669-9355, 305-669-8359 (fax), or by e-mail

Will the videographer be obtrusive or interfere with the wedding?

Couples are usually  very concerned regarding this matter because many  have experienced aggressive and bothersome videographers as well as photographers, at weddings and other events. At Bride’s World Video Productions, we promise that our staff will be as discrete as possible in order to allow the wedding events to proceed smoothly and as planned. Previous clients have made comments, such as, “We hardly noticed that anyone was there filming the wedding,” or “I do not remember seeing the videographer there.” If you still feel very sensitive regarding this matter, we will make accommodations to make the bride and groom feel as comfortable as possible while we capture this once in a lifetime event.

Will a great deal of lighting be used by the videographer throughout the filming of the wedding?

Our videographers use as little additional lighting as possible while filming, since the extra light may be incommodious to the bride, groom, and wedding guests. As a matter of fact, most churches do not allow for the use of lighting equipment throughout the ceremony. However, in order to capture the best lighting while filming, special 3CCD Broadcast video cameras are used, which are perfect for locations with low lighting. Our cameras are equipped with 100 watt Lowel bulbs, that are only used when needed, which provide more than enough illumination to beautifully capture your wedding.

Is there ever conflict between the videographer and photographer at the event?

Bride’s World Video Productions’ videographers try to work with the wedding photographers as a team. We have been filming wedding videos in South Florida since 1989, and have therefore become familiar with many photographers throughout the area and vice versa.  It is not only important to capture the great memories of your wedding, but it is also very important to us that you have a great memory of the people were involved in it.

How is the videographer who will film my wedding chosen?

Our company currently employs several videographers with proficient filming experience. All of our filming staff has been specially trained to meet Bride’s World Video Productions’ standards and are all equally capable to capturing the events of your wedding on camera. We do not subcontract from other companies. As wedding dates approach, the company’s management department allocates videographers to film on certain dates and times. However, no videographer is considered to be less talented or prepared than the other.

What will be the length of my finalized wedding video?

The length of your video all depends on the type of package you choose. If your wedding is “Ceremony Only”, the final product will be just a little bit longer than the length of the ceremony. Packages that consist of “Ceremony and Reception” can run up to 2 hours in length  after editing. We also offer a condensed version of the wedding the video, which we call the “Live Summary”, containing special wedding moments. This video runs about 20 to 30 minutes in length for your convenience.

After the wedding has been filmed, how long will it take for me to receive the final product?

Your video will be ready 8 to 10 weeks after the wedding has been filmed if we have received all of the editing material required. Couples must submit wedding credits, music selection, and pictures/invitation (if applicable in the package chosen). Once the last piece of information has been turned in to Bride’s World Video Productions, the editing process will begin.

How is Bride’s World Video Productions’ payment plan?

In order to reserve the wedding date for you and assure availability for filming, a deposit of $300.00 is required upon execution of the contract. Fifty percent of the total amount of the video package chosen is due 4 months prior to the date of the wedding. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding date. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. However, in the event that the wedding is postponed, the deposit will be applied to the new date within a period of 1 year after the postponement. If the wedding is cancelled, the deposit may credited towards the use of our other services within a period of 1 year after the cancellation. The deposit is also transferable.
